PI-Core: Terms & Conditions

These terms govern participation in PI-Core sessions delivered by 13point1 Advisors. By registering for a session, participants agree to the terms below.

Recording, AI Transcription, and Consent

By registering for and attending this PI-Core training session, each participant affirmatively consents to audio and/or video recording of the proceedings and to the use of automated transcription, summarization, and analysis tools, including third-party artificial intelligence services, in connection with those recordings. A consent prompt will be presented at session entry; continued participation after that prompt constitutes ongoing consent to recording and processing.

Recordings and transcripts will be used by 13point1 Advisors solely for session facilitation, the preparation of generalized post-session materials, internal training, and quality improvement. They will not be distributed publicly, sold, distributed to participants for replay, distributed to other participating organizations, or shared with third parties other than contracted service providers supporting hosting, recording, transcription, analysis, storage, or security, except as required by law.

Recordings and transcripts will be retained for 30 days following the session and then deleted in the ordinary course, subject to any legal hold or documented compliance requirement.

Any participant who does not wish to be recorded must notify 13point1 Advisors at least 24 hours before the session begins. Reasonable accommodations will be considered where practicable, but participation options may be limited for individuals who decline recording consent.

Confidentiality and Information Sharing Among Participants

This session is attended by leaders from multiple organizations, which may include health plans, vendors, providers, and other industry participants. Some participating organizations may compete with one another, contract with one another, or have other commercial relationships.

Participants must not disclose, request, discuss, or exchange information that is confidential, proprietary, competitively sensitive, or subject to legal or regulatory protection. The facilitators may stop or redirect discussion, and may exclude participants from a discussion thread, if conversation begins to touch on prohibited information categories.

Prohibited topics include, without limitation: Protected Health Information under HIPAA; member-, patient-, provider-, or employee-identifiable data; nonpublic pricing or reimbursement terms; current or future vendor pricing, rate cards, discounts, or contract-specific economics; profit margins; internal financial performance not yet public; strategic plans regarding market conduct; trade secrets; and other competitively sensitive business information. Discussion should remain at the level of frameworks, methodologies, generalized operating challenges, and de-identified, non-competitively-sensitive examples.

Information shared by a participant during the session is not granted any privilege or confidentiality protection by 13point1 Advisors against other participating organizations. Participants are responsible for what they choose to disclose in the presence of other organizations.

13point1 Advisors operates under a strict neutrality and confidentiality standard for session facilitation. Participation in this session does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, joint-defense, or other privileged relationship between 13point1 Advisors and any individual participant or participant organization. No statement made in the session should be relied upon as a privileged communication or as permission to disclose information a participant is otherwise obligated to protect. Any participant who violates these session rules may be removed from the session at 13point1 Advisors' discretion.

13point1 Advisors' frameworks, methodologies, and proprietary materials presented during the session — including the Market Matrix™, the Common Language Framework, the PI-Core reference architecture, and all related taxonomies, models, and assessment tools — are the confidential and proprietary materials of 13point1 Advisors and are governed by the Copyright and Use of Materials section below.
